My name is Cristina Massaccesi and I am a Teaching Fellow at the Italian Department of the School of European Languages Culture and Society of University College London.

Cinema is one of my biggest passions and it is also a huge part of my work life. At UCL I am responsible for the Italian Film Club, an appointment (now in its fifth year) that aims at screening old and new Italian films.

A special thanks to Francesco Massaccesi for his collaboration.

  1. Hi Cristina!
I really like what you’re doing here is really meaningful!

I’d love to have a feedback from you and know what you think about the project (www.dantethefilm.com) given your expertise!

“Dante” is a feature film I started producing in five years ago. Is the modern adaptation of the “Divine Comedy”.
It’s an international independent co-production based between Italy, Canada and the United States.

We are currently finished post-producing the visual part and we launched a Kickstarter Campaign to fund the Audio Post-Production and Festival Application Fees ( http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1726052694/dante-the-movie-on-dantes-journey-to-a-modern-infe )

Please let me know what you think! It would be great hearing back from you!

    All the best,

    • Hi Elettra and many thanks for getting in touch!

Your project sounds really interesting and it would be nice to discuss about it. Perhaps I’ll see you at one of the Italian Film Club’s screenings this year?

      All best,
